Create your own textile artwork with fine metal and stitch.
What to expect
Discover free motion machine embroidery, using soluble fabric and fine metals to create a fabulous stitched textile artwork. Over 2 days you will be led through the techniques of free motion machine stitching (everyone of you and virtually any sewing machine can do this!), learn some of the possibilities of stitching into soluble fabric and fine metal such as copper, pewter, aluminium and reclaimed domestic metals. Then embellish with hand stitch and beads. Whatever your previous experience in contemporary textiles or stitch you will be able to create a fabulous textile to take away.
Cancellation Policy
Once you have confirmed your place by payment you have agreed to enter into a contract with Alysn Midgelow-Marsden where your fees are non-refundable nor interchangeable. If you begin this course then decide not to continue you will not receive a refund. If you are unable to attend a class due to illness, or for personal reasons, you will not be entitled to a refund for sessions missed. If the group drops below 4 participants, the course will be cancelled, and your fees will be refunded if you are not cancelling. In the event that Alysn Midgelow-Marsden is unable to deliver one or more of the sessions due to illness, every effort will be made to deliver a ‘make-up’ session.
